Anthony Culpepper is one of the founding Members of AAWCP and currently serves as the president of the organization.
He is currently supervising partner at Michael Sullivan & Associates in their Los Angeles flagship office. He represents self-insured employers, third-party administrators, corporations, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation. He has been in the industry since 2012 where he began his career as in-house counsel at Travelers Insurance.
Mr. Culpepper received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was a member of the Criminal Law Society, the Business Law Association, and La Raza Law Student Association. He served as president of the USF chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and served as a membership coordinator on the BLSA Western Regional Board. He was a Certified Law Student for the USF’s Child Advocacy Clinic, representing minors removed from parental care by the San Francisco Human Services Agency and dependency courts. He also spent a summer as law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s victim assistance program.
For undergraduate studies, Mr. Culpepper received his degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he served as secretary of the Political Science Club and membership coordinator of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, the oldest intercollegiate fraternity for African Americans.
Throughout his life, Mr. Culpepper has dedicated his service to promoting African American self-determination with respect to all parts of societal and economic culture, and AAWCP is proud to include his service as a contribution to its mission.
